Who this is between
This is between your brokerage and Zora REI, Inc., a licensed New York real estate brokerage that operates Zagent. It covers the listings you choose to submit and nothing else. It does not make us your agent, your co-broker, or your subagent, and it does not give either of us a claim on the other's commission.
You confirm you may publish this listing
You confirm that your brokerage holds a current, valid listing agreement for this property, and that the owner has authorized it to be marketed publicly. New York rules do not permit a broker to advertise a property without that authority, and your confirmation is what allows us to display it.
You allow us to display it
You authorize Zora REI, Inc. to display this listing on Zagent — publicly and to our signed-in clients — and to name your brokerage as the source alongside it. You can withdraw that permission at any time and we will take the listing down.
Photographs and written descriptions
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display any photographs and description you submit, and you confirm you have the right to grant it — that your brokerage owns them or is licensed to use them, including from your photographer. This matters: listing photographs are the most litigated thing in this industry, and we will not display an image without this. The licence ends when the listing comes down.
What we do with it
We show your listing to buyers. Zagent may contact the listing agent you name here on a buyer's behalf — asking whether it is available, asking questions, requesting a showing. That is the point of the platform. We do not change your description, your photographs, or your price.
What we never do
Paying us never affects which homes a buyer sees or the order they see them in. Placement is not for sale, at any price, to anyone. A brokerage that pays us is buying carriage and responsiveness, never preference — and we would rather lose the business than sell a buyer a result we were paid to show them.
Keeping it accurate
You will tell us promptly when the listing goes into contract, closes, expires, or is withdrawn, and when the price changes. A stale listing is worse than no listing, for your seller and for our buyers. We may take down anything we have reason to believe is no longer accurate.
Fair housing
Your listing and its description must comply with federal, New York State and New York City fair housing law. We screen submissions and will refuse anything that expresses a preference, limitation or discrimination based on a protected characteristic — and will tell you why.
What you pay, and the part you cannot cancel
Free until 31 December 2026. From then until 31 December 2028 you pay $199 a month for up to 10 agents. You are committing to that whole period now and cannot cancel during it — and in exchange we cannot raise your rate during it either. This is the whole of it: there is no setup fee, no per-listing fee, and no charge for listings we refuse. Read the previous sentences again before you sign, because the commitment is the point of the rate — you are getting the founding price because you are agreeing to stay, and we are giving up the right to raise it on you for the same period. After that period ends it continues month to month, you may cancel any month, and we may change the rate with at least sixty days' notice in writing. Your listings come down when it ends.
